초등학교 예비교사의 생태형 스포츠 실행 경험과 생태형 스포츠 교육의 정착을 위한 제언 = Preservice Elementary School Teachers’ Experience of Practicing Ecological Sports and Suggestions for Establishing Ecological Sports Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 예비교사들을 대상으로 생태형 스포츠의 이해와 적용 그리고 성찰 과정을 깊이 있게 들여다봄으로써, 2022 개정 체육과 교육과정에 새로 도입된 생태형 스포츠의 실행 가능성을 탐색하고자 하는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구의 목적을 달성하고자 실행연구방법을 채택하였으며, 연구에 참여하는 예비교사들을 대상으로 참여 관찰과 심층 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하고, Spradley(1980/2009)가 제안한 영역분석과 분류분석을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 생태형 스포츠 교육을 위한 실행과정에서 수업은 총 6∼15주차 사이에 5회에 걸쳐서 실시되었으며, 수업의 주요 내용은 개정 교육과정과 생태형 스포츠에 대한 이해, 생태형 스포츠 체험계획 수립과 실천, 생태형 스포츠교수⋅학습 방법의 탐색으로 구성되었다. 예비교사들은 연구자가 설계한 생태형 스포츠 교육에 참여하면서 ‘움직임 욕구의 실현’, ‘자연이라는 교육 소재 발견’, ‘새로운 스포츠 환경에 적응’, ‘생태형 스포츠에 에듀테크 더하기’, ‘생태형 스포츠 소양 함양의 필요성 인식’ 등과 같은 교육적 체험을 한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 기반하여 생태형 스포츠 교육의 실천 방향으로 ‘환경에 대한 책임 의식과 실천 강조’, ‘도전과 모험 정신 함양 부각’, ‘환경에 기반한 건전한 스포츠 문화 형성’을 제안하였다. 끝으로생태형 스포츠 교육과 관련한 구체적인 사례연구 확대, 현장 교사교육 및 보급을 위한 프로그램 개발, 학교와 지역사회 연계 교육 방안을 후속 연구로 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The goal of this study was to determine the feasibility of ecological sports, a major content element in the 2022 revised physical education curriculum, by examining elementary school preservice teachers’ understanding, application, and reflection process of ecological sports. The researcher conducted action research to achieve the study’s goal and collected data through participant observation and in-depth interviews with preservice teachers who took part in the action research.
The data gathered were analyzed using the domain and taxonomic analyses of Spradley (1980/2009).
The implementation process for ecological sports education was conducted five times between 6 and 15 weeks, with the main content consisting of the 2022 revised curriculum and understanding of ecological sports, the establishment and implementation of an ecological sports experience plan, and the exploration of ecological sports teaching methods. Through the ecological sports education designed by the researcher, preservice teachers learned the following: “Realization of the desire for movement,” “Discovering the educational material called nature,” “Adapting to a new sports environment,” “Adding Edu-tech to ecological sports,” and “Cultivating the literacy of ecological sports.” Based on the preservice teachers’ awareness and participation, the researcher proposed three major directions for implementing ecological sports education: “Emphasis on environmental responsibility and participation,” “Emphasis on cultivating a spirit of challenge and adventure,” “Cultivating the right sports culture based on the environment.” To establish the relatively unfamiliar educational content of “ecological sports” in the field, teacher awareness must be raised and an educational environment must be created.
Therefore, it was proposed that as follow-up studies, specific case studies related to ecological sports education, development of programs for on-site teacher training, and exploration of education plans in collaboration with schools and local communities be expanded.
