This thesis deals with the multicast routing algorithm and its performance evaluation used for packet telecommunication network. The most core functions of multicast routing algorithm satisfy with the quality of service, efficiently use network resource in time. Therefore we suggest a multicast routing algorithm by modifying the unicast routing algorithm. There was a resource reservation method which is used to guarantee the quality of service between source and destinations in the real-time network. As the result for proposed algorithm, transmission capacity and cost is reduced as compared with for the unicast algorithm. Therefore we find that the proposed algorithm provides better performance than the unicast algorithm.
