결합적 어휘 의미관계의 독립성과 특성에 대하여 = A Study on the independence and the properties of syntagmatic lexical relation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글에서는 어휘 의미관계로서 결합적 어휘 의미관계가 독립적임을 주장했고, 결합적 어휘 의미관계가 성립할 조건과 저장의 방식, 그리고 결합적 어휘 의미핀계의 유형을 살펴보았다. 어휘 의미관계를 흔히 계열적 어휘 의미관계(이하, 계열관계)와 결합적 어휘 의미관계(이하, 결합관계)로 구분하지만 결합관계의 지위는 매우 미약하다. 이 글에서는 결합관계와 계열관계가 다르다는 점, 그리고 결합관계와 선택제약이 다르다는 점을 분명히 하여 결합관계의 독립성을 증명하였다. 결합관계는 연어관계로 성립할 수 있을 때 우리 머릿속에 어휘망이나 구문으로 기억될 수 있다. 그리고 여느 언어 단위의 결합과 마찬가지로 결합관계는 대등과 종속으로 크게 나눌 수 있다. 계열관계에 있는 단어들이 특수한 구문 환경에서 공기할 때 두 단어는 대등적으로 연결되는 것이고, 나머지는 종속적으로 연결된 것이다. 종속적으로 연결된 단어들은 다시 의미역과 틀 구조와 같은 조합 패턴에 의해 결합관계가 해석된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to reveal the independence of syntagmatic lexical relation and explain the properties of syntagmatic lexical relation. It has been dealt with that paradigmatic lexical relation is on a par with lexical semantic relation and syntagmatic lexical relation is included in selection restriction or subspeicification sofar. Therefore the independence of syntagmatic lexical relation has been weakened. However syntagmatic lexical relation is an independent kind of lexical semantic relation as a rival of paradigmatic lexical relation. The properties of syntagmatic lexical relation are as follows. First, two words hold a meaning element in common to form syntagmatic lexical relation. Second, collocation out of syntagmatic lexical relations remains in our memory in the form of a lexical network or construction. Third, syntagmatic lexical relation is classified with coordinate relation and subordinate relation, and defined with a combination pattern such as a semantic role structure and a frame structure.
