This study examines the structural relationships among leisure participation attitude, leisure satisfaction, cultural adaptation, and quality of life among North Korean defectors. Using survey data from 308 participants and structural equation modeling (SEM), the findings show that leisure satisfaction mediates the effects of participation attitude on cultural adaptation and quality of life. Leisure satisfaction and cultural adaptation also have significant positive effects on quality of life, highlighting leisure activities as a key pathway for psychological stability and social integration. The study emphasizes the need for tailored leisure programs, expanded cultural and social activities, and integrated policies supporting settlement and overall well-being.
