통일 한국 시대에 대비한 교육리더십 계발을 위한 기독교교육적 함의 = Christian Educational Implications for the Development of Educational Leadership in preparation for the Unified Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is a basic research to present its direction and goal from the Christian educational point of view in developing educational leadership that will lead the era of unified Korea. Today, Korean society is in dire need of a new educational leadership that the Korean church should pursue amid the newly evolving situation on the Korean Peninsula as it marks the 70th anniversary of the Korean War. Under these circumstances, Christians should first reflect on their past history, objectively examine today's reality and seek a way forward. Therefore, the first part of this paper seeks to see what role the Korean church has played in relation to Korea government’s unification policy, analyzing the government's unification policy in three stages and describing the Korean church's unification mission strategies appearing at each stage. The second part of this paper looks at two approaches for the Korean church and the education community in order to develop educational leadership that is suitable for the coming unification era. One method is to develop the educational-administration leadership for policy-oriented unification of Korea, introducing educational programs to promote the right sense of unification as well as educational programs to foster policy developers for the unification era. The other method is to design the educational-pastoral leadership scheme for people-oriented unification of Korea, which would like to introduce the changing perception of North Korean defectors as well as the missionary theological foundation and strategy for North Korean defectors and the characteristics of the educational curriculum. Through this, this paper would like to propose a research direction on the core competencies that the next generation of leaders who will lead the era of unified Korea to come.
