예비 유아특수교사들의 자아개념과 자기효능감의 관계 = The Correlations between the Self-Concept and Self-Efficacy of College Students in Early Childhood Special Education Major(dept.)

The purpose of this study is to investigate if there is any correlation between the college students in early childhood special education major(dept.) self-concept and self-efficacy. A total of 320 college students in early childhood special education major(dept.) participated in the study. In the process of analyzing the data, SPSS(for 14.0 Window) and AMOS(for 7.0 version) statistics programs were used in dealing with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis, and path analysis.
The results of this study are as follows:
First, the relationship of college students in early childhood special education major(dept.) self -concept and self-efficacy appeared relatively high. And college students in early childhood special education major(dept.) have more positive perception on the view point of early childhood and the one of career as a college students. Secondly, a general factor with regard to self-efficacy of college students showed relating to their ages, experiences of practicumn, and numbers of practicumn. And also sub factors between the college students in early childhood special education major(dept.) self-concept and self-efficacy showed high correlations. Thirdly, the self-concept and the numbers of practicum of early childhood special education teachers' showed direct effect on self-efficacy. Therefore, this study will help for pre-service training for the early childhood special education teachers and also will be contributed to develop curriculum and pre-service programs needed for the process of teacher training.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 예비 유아특수교사들의 자아개념과 자기효능감의 관계를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구대상은 예비 유아특수교사 320명을 대상으로 실시되었으며, 자료 분석은 연구문제에 따라 상관분석, 중다회귀분석 및 경로분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 예비 유아특수교사들의 자아개념과 자기효능감은 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 예비 유아특수교사들은 유아특수교사로서 갖추어야 할 유아관과 직업관에서 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 예비 유아특수교사들의 자기효능감과 관련 있는 일반적 변인으로는 예비 유아특수교사들의 연령과 현장실습여부 및 실습경험횟수 등으로 나타났으며, 예비유아특수교사들의 자아개념과 자기효능감의 하위 요인 간에는 높은 상관성을 보여줌으로써 두 개념 간에 유사점이 있음을 보여주었다. 예비 유아특수교사들의 자아개념과 현장실습횟수는 자기효능감에 직접적인 효과를 보였으며, 특히 자아개념과 자기효능감 간에는 직접효과와 간접효과가 모두 발생하였는데, 이는 자아개념과 현장실습횟수가 자기효능감에 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여주는 결과이다. 따라서 본 연구는 유아특수교사 교육을 위한 기초자료를 제시하고, 유아특수교사 양성과정에 필요한 교육과정 및 직전교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
