한 초등학교 교사들의 SNS 활용 특성에 관한 인터넷 질적 연구: “밴드”를 중심으로 = Internet Qualitative Research on the Characteristics of SNS Utilization of Elementary Teachers: Based on the “Band”

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this paper is to investigate characteristics of ‘Band’ as a type of SNS that teachers of one elementary school use. The researcher used internet qualitative research as a main research method. For this, a researcher collected various qualitative data through participant observation in Band, offline interview, and field note written by the researcher to consider triangulation in a qualitative research. And then, the researcher analyzed data gathered using 3 steps of transcription, coding, and theme finding. Management and analysis of qualitative data was used ‘Parangsae2.0’ which is one of CAQDAS(Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software). The researcher determined four characteristics on Band usage of elementary teachers through repetitive reflection and theoretical search by researcher. The characteristics of the Band usage consists of 4 results, relationship expansion and space for decision making through sharing and communication, informal online study space facilitating learning and reflection, emotional communal space constructing belief through mind sharing, and closed space accommodated by homogeneity and invitation. Based on these results, the researcher suggested 3 methods of Band usage that teachers can use Band efficiently in the educational aspect. Teachers can use Band as a means of efficient school operation, useful tool of relationship expansion, and online learning space.
