주제범위 문헌고찰을 통한 장애인학대 연구 동향 분석 = Analysis of Trends in Research on Disability Abuse through the Scoping Review

This study conducted a scoping review to analyze domestic research on abuse against persons with disabilities in South Korea, with the aim of identifying overall research trends, limitations of existing studies, and knowledge gaps. The analysis showed that research related to abuse of persons with disabilities began to appear around 2009 and has been conducted in fields such as social welfare, law, and public administration. There was a lack of studies that explored emotional abuse, economic abuse, neglect/abandonment, discriminatory abuse, and institutional abuse. In particular, research on abuse within residential facilities, abuse of older adults with disabilities, and re-abuse was found to be markedly insufficient. From the perspective of the ecological abuse prevention model, insufficient attention has been paid to 5 cells in matrix. Therefore, future research needs to be strengthened in the following areas: studies on various types of abuse, abuse in facilities, abuse of older adults with disabilities, studies related to perpetrators, and research that addresses the weaknesses within each system of the ecological model.
