This paper aims to evaluate the performance focused on the improvement of official discipline of Pusan police, of Great Police Reform enforced for 100 days in Korea, and to find policy implications. The data for the evaluation were gathered from the questionnaire intended for policemen in spite of the weakness of the research method. This research found that policemen considered the reform had made greatly positive influence on the improvement of official discipline in terms of kindness, sincerity, confidence, typicality, and uprightness. But, newspapers reports continuously the bribe cases of police after the reform.
Therefore, for the success of the police reform, we have to drive continuously the reform, including change of the policemen's consciousness, improvement of education and training of policemen, change of recruitment method, improvement of their morale and treatment, citizen participation in police administration, reform of police inspection, and adaptation of the whistle blow, breaking from the short-term, formal, visual one.
