정신지체아동의 의성어·의태어 지도를 위한 애니메이션 활용 방안 = A Study on Teaching Plan of Onomatopoeia with Animation for the Students with Mental Retardation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to make a teaching plan of onomatopoeia with animation for the students with mental retardation. More concretely, this study has the purpose of the following; First, to analyze the trends of the language teaching method for the students with mental retardation. Second, to find out the method of the language teaching plan with onomatopoeia. Third, to find out the method of the language teaching plan with animation. Fourth, to suggest the teaching plan of onomatopoeia with animation for the students with mental retardation.

To analyze the trends of the language teaching method for the students with mental retardation, at first, find out the language characteristics of students with mental retardation. And then, analyze the trends of the language teaching method for the students with mental retardation. 20 journals about the language teaching method for the students with mental retardation are subject to this study.
To find out the method of the language teaching plan with onomatopoeia, at first, define the meaning of onomatopoeia and find out the characteristics of onomatopoeia. And then, extract the significations of onomatopoeia on language teaching for the students with mental retardation. Finally, analyze the previous journals.
To find out the method of the language teaching plan with animation, at first, define the meaning of animation and find out the characteristics of animation. And then, extract the significations of the teaching with animation on language teaching for the students with mental retardation. Finally, analyze of the previous journals.
By colligating all the previous studies, at last, I suggest the teaching plan of onomatopoeia with animation for the students with mental retardation. This study suggest the teaching plan with the animation "PORORO", the most popular animation for the children in Korea.

The results of this study are as follows. First, the previous studies on the language teaching method for the students with mental retardation are mostly focused on the teaching of reading. And most of the previous studies are not focused on enhancing the students' interest on the language.
Second, the studies of the method of the language teaching plan with onomatopoeia are not many. Moreover, the studies on the method of the language teaching plan with onomatopoeia for the students with mental retardation have not been conducted in the last 10 years, only for visually impaired students.
Third, the studies on the method of the language teaching plan with animation are not many, either. Moreover, There has been only one study about the method of the language teaching plan with animation for the students with mental retardation in the last 10 years.
Fourth, based on the previous three studies, this study suggests the teaching plan of onomatopoeia with animation for the students with mental retardation, with the animation "PORORO", the most popular animation for the children in Korea. And the list of onomatopoeia appearing on "PORORO" is appended to this study.
