In today’s multiplatform environment, where broadcasting, the Internet, and mobile networks are interconnected, a smart media ecosystem that integrates broadcasting, telecommunications, and computing is emerging as a standard. This shift represents a move toward human-centered emotional media, influenced by an understanding of human psychology and the integration of emotional technologies. Therefore, there is an increasing need for technologies that can analyze the relationship between media and human emotions. Therefore, this study aims to establish a connection between media and human emotions, examine the impact of media on emotional states, and identify the factors contributing to these effects. Furthermore, we propose a method for evaluating smart content based on emotional media, and present a service scenario that guides children and adolescents toward healthy media consumption. By promoting human-centered, healthy media consumption, this approach contributes to the development of positive character traits and suggests the potential to advance a knowledge-based society through emotional media.
