인터넷 기술을 이용한 관광정보시스템의 구축에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Development of Tourist Information System Using Internet Technology

The main purpose of this paper was to develop tourist inforneation system for T`aegu-Kyongbuk area in Korea. A tourist information system was developed using Internet teclnology such as HTML,, JAVASCRIPT(JAVA), MS-SQL, PAINTSHOP, PeHOTOSHOP, WEBEDIT, FRONTPAGE. To accomplish the purpose of this paper effectively and efficiently, first of all, tlueoretical background of Internet and tourist information system were reviewed with t1e following topics: (1) concept of intemet (2) future status of tourism industry (3) usage of Internet at tourism industry (4) types of tourist inforneation system (5) cases of tourist inforneation system (6) benefits of tourist information system Second, research methodology was discussed with the following topics: (1) data collection areas, (2) data collection methods and period, (3) development tools and methods. Third, development of tourist information system and benefits were discussed with following topica: (1) configurations of tourist information system, (2) running of tourist infomeation system for Taegu and Kyongbuk area, (3) benefits of tourist information system (4) future developmental directions of tourist information system Finally, this paper was summarized, and the future research areas and directions were suggested briefly.
