The objective of this research is to understand of Tech Prep as an educational reform program in U.S.A. The need, definition, curriculum, status of Tech Prep are reviewed. This research is conducted by literature review. Tech Prep is a career-oriented curricular and instructional strategy for student which begins in high school and continues through at least two years of postsecondary education. Tech Prep educational program have in progress since Carl D Perkins Act Amendments in 1990 in U.S.A. In corporating schoolbase with workbased instruction in a seamless and nonduplicative curriculum, Tech Prep helps student to make smooth transitions from one educational system to another. A major goal of Tech Prep is to enable greater number of highschool graduates to obtain associate degrees or certificates in specialized career fields. In many instances, Tech Prep was benefits in math and language skill increased, decreased in dropout rate, successful post-secondary enrollments, motivated leaners etc.
