청춘가의 수용과 의미 전남지역을 중심으로 = Acceptance and meaning of chungchunga －in focus of Jeonnam province－

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article is written with the object of understanding the actual conditions of folk songs such as new-folksong(신민요), tongsok-folksong(통속민요) and traditional -folksong(향토민요), that they cannot be prescribed stationarily. In order to do this, we are to examine the actual circumstance of tongsok-folksong and new-folksong, particularly in focus of chungchunga(청춘가) which has been known as new-folksong; find out about how they have been accepted in Jeonnam regions; and look for their meanings.
Chungchunga, which has been called as new-folksong from the time under Japanese domination is originally a musical piece from seodosory(서도소리) lineage. Chungchunga had been released in names of ipalchungchunga(이팔청춘가), ipalga(이팔가), sinsikchungchunga(신식청춘가) etc from the end of 1920's to the beginning of the 40's. It was referred as folksong, sokyo(속요), and japga(잡가) more than new-folksong.
It is estimated that the time when chungchunga is streamed into Jeonnam province is probably during the period of 1940's. All singers in Jeonnam province recognized newly-inflowed Folksong of Gyeonggi province style as chungchunga. Also, in process of accepting Folksong of Gyeonggi province style, they modified heterogeneous parts and emphasized the familiar parts.
