국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 국가 교육과정에 대한 대항 담론으로 지역 교육과정에 대한 논의가 다양하게 이루어지고 있다. 그간 지역 교육과정은 국가의 중앙 교육과정의 보조적 수단으로서 혹은 학교 교육과정과 국가 교육과정을 매개하는 중간적 위치로 기능해온 경향이 강하다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 지역 교육과정에 대한 기존의 이해 방식을 넘어서서 그 본질적 성격을 탐색해본다. 그 중심으로 지역 교육과정과 인간 삶의 문제로 접근해보고자 한다. 지역은 인간 삶의 토대로서 교육과정의 지향점과 일치한다. 지역 삶을 토대로 하는 인간 발달의
교육을 추구하는 교육과정이 지역 교육과정의 기본 정심이 되어야 한다. 이를 위한 교육 과정의 이해 방식과 이를 구체화 할 수 있는 새로운 교육과정 설계 방식을 제안해본다. 이러한 방식은 현재 논의되고 있는 2022 개정 교육과정과의 기본 취지에도 부합한다. 이제 지역 교육과정은 국가 교육과정이나 학교 교육과정과의 매개적이거나 보조적 수단이 아닌 그 자체의 본연의 역할과 기능에 주목할 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, as a discourse against the national curriculum, there are various discussions about the local curriculum. The local or regional curriculum has a strong tendency to function as an auxiliary means of the national central curriculum or as an intermediate position between the school curriculum and the national curriculum. However, in this study, we go beyond the existing understanding of the local curriculum and explore its essential characteristics. We would like to approach the problem of the local curriculum and human life as the center of it. Regions or cites are the basis of human life and are consistent with the orientation of the curriculum. A curriculum that pursues education for human development based on local life should be the basic spirit of the local curriculum. To this end, we propose a method of understanding the curriculum and a new curriculum design method that can materialize it. This method is also in line with the basic purpose of the 2022 revised curriculum, which is currently being discussed. Now, it is necessary to pay attention to the role and function of the local curriculum, not as a mediating or auxiliary means with the national curriculum or school curriculum.
