This article about A study of Park Tae Won`s Poetry is going through all his published poetries and critics of poems, taking notice to the fact that he started his first step to the literary world as a poet and that he had created plenty works in various fields beyond his career as a novelist. Most criticism and studies about Park Tae Won so far is mainly focused on his novels. Therefore, in order to get more inclusive understanding and to study closely about his works it is necessary to examine the works above his novels. Especially, we should pay attention to that his real literary start point and he published 19 pieces of poetries before he began his path as a novelist. It is worth considering Park Tae Won`s poetries and critics of poems since it is often the case that some early works of a poet or writer act as the rudder of the upcoming works or as an important base data to estimate the literary direction, his aim and perception. And with that we understand Park Tae Won`s early literary perception and direction furthermore we get a new understanding about the flow of his literary awareness. Park Tae Won is one of the most lively studied modern writer, but except his novels non of his other creation had been studied so far. Under this circumstance considering his poetries is quite important for us to understand his early literary view and his aiming point and also very meaningful to enrich and vary the research of Park Tae Won`s overall literary world. Therefore in this article we primarily consider Ku Bo Park Tae Won`s critics of poem through his prose together with 19 pieces of his published poetries. Park Tae Won`s literary world is too various and different to define or regulate, but on the other hand he is defined as the representative writer of Korean modernism who wrote the most exceptional and experimental work among the novels written in Korean. So added to the former studies focused on his novels this study will be of some help to prospect Park Tae Won`s whole literary world with a new and wide view.
