[보고서] 술이부작의 해석학_결과보고서

국문 초록 (Abstract)

‘述而不作’이라는 개념은 공자가 전래된 문화를 진단하고 해석하는 입장을 나타낸 중요한 언급이다. 이 말은 옛 문화를 해석하여 의미를 찾아내는 것을 의미한다. 이미 문화 안에 있는 인간 존재로서 문화의 본래의 의미를 찾는다는 것은 자기 성찰적이다. 공자는 문화 상징을 해석하는 가운데 내면적으로 인간을 해석하는 해석학적 순환을 보여주었다. 문화 이해는 문화적 상징에 대한 이해이며 문화적 텍스트에 대한 이해를 의미한다. 공자는 전승된 문화를 시, 예, 악으로 상징화하였으며 이 문화적 상징을 통하여 인간의 합리적 사유, 도덕적 의지, 심미의식으로 인문적인 인간의 의식을 내면화하고자 하였다. 이 과정에서 공자는 이상적 인간상(君子)을 제시하였고 또한 이상적 인간이 지향하는 ‘인간다움’의 덕성을 철학적 개념으로 발전시켰다. 공자는 전승된 문화개념을 음운론적이며 의미론적인 유비를 통하여 철학적 개념으로 발전시켰다. 공자의 철학은 이러한 면에서 일관성을 가지고 있고 문화해석이 궁극적으로 인간해석에 이르는 철학적 사유의 면모를 보여주고 있다. 이것이 공자의 ‘술이부작의 문화해석’이 보여주는 고대 계몽철학의 원형과 특징을 보여준다고 할 수 있다. 공자의 철학은 후대 철학자들에 의하여 다양한 철학적 사유로 발전해나가는 계기를 주었으며 이점이 공자의 철학을 단순히 유교에 한정할 수 없는 이유가 된다. 이 문제 영향사적인 측면에서 깊이 있게 다루어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Confucius said, "A transmitter and not a maker, believing in and loving the
ancients," which is a diagnostic statement about the culture and is an important
reference to the interpretation of the transmitting culture. This means to find the
meaning of culture through the interpretation of the Ancient Culture. The inherited presence of human values in the culture which searches the meaning of origin of culture is nothing but the self-reflection of the time. While interpreting the culture symbol Confucius shows the understanding of human being in continuous rotation. Understanding of culture is to understand the symbolic meaning of culture in the written texts about culture. Confucius says that culture is handed down to the next generation through poetry, rite, and music. And through these cultural symbols human being internalizes the civilized concepts of rational values, moral values, and (a) esthetic appreciation. In this process Confucius also identifies the development
of idealistic human characteristics which further develops into a philosophical
concept of "human" moral character. According to Confucius, the cultural notions transmitted, develops into philosophical notion through phonetical analogy and semantical analogy. This point of view shows a philosophical consistency where the culture interpretations ultimately reach to the interpretation of human being. This means through ‘critical cultural hermeneutic’ it would be possible to show the features of ancient times enlightenment philosophy. Confucius philosophy gives an opportunity to develop philosophical thought for the following scholars which means that Confucius Philosophy means more than just Confucianism. To understand it completely we need to study and research deeply.
