This study established a research model based on the task-technology fit(TTF) theory to analyze the intention of continuous use of metaverse services from the user's point of view.
In detail, the metaverse service characteristics are composed of presence, usefulness, and gamification. And this study is to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of the metaverse service, task-technology fit, and continuous use intention. A total of 167 data were collected for users with metaverse experience. The proposed research hypothesis was validated through a structural equation model using SmartPLS4.0. As a result of the analysis, the metaverse service characteristics (presence, usefulness, and gamification) have a positive effect on task-technology fit. And task-technology fit has a positive effect on the continuance of use intention.
