This study is seeking the way of elementary school career counselling and counselling method to elementary school with execution of career group consulting program of vocational card grouping to elementary school 5th grade students to verify how much influence career maturity by program.
The subject of study for this purpose is as follows.
First is career group consulting program using vocational card grouping effective to improve attitude of career maturity of elementary school 5th grade ?
Second is career group counselling program using vocational card grouping effective to ability of career maturity of elementary school 5th grade ?
To solve subject of study, elementary school 5th grade students(5-2) 29 member are to act as guinea pigs. this school is located in Gyeongsangnam-do, researcher work for.
The students are aware of contents and purpose of career group consulting program and they are spontaneous participated
Ten member(3boys, 7girls) are experimental group, the others(19 members) are control group.
Career group consulting program using vocational card grouping carried out to experimental group November 15 to December 13 and once a week, 5session (each program takes 40 minutes) at counseling office after school.
Career group consulting program used in this study is reconstructed program for 5,6 grade elementary students and this program by Sung- nin jung(2005), this program is based on Jo- yu mi'(2002) job card grouping manual for 3times and she participated in MOCS course.

Statics analysis are a preliminary and post inspection using SPSS 12.0 after calculating Mean(M),Standard deviation(SD) verification for between- group mean significance test and carried ANCOVA which preliminary inspection score is covariate, post-inspection score is dependent variables.

In analysis experience impression content ,this program is fun to students and useful to understanding of the world of work, understanding of themselves.
So career group consulting program using vocational card grouping improved self-directed ability of elementary school students by way of voluntary participation and expecting help self-realization by rational decision-making via exploration of the world of work.
But in this study lack of consideration of lower level factor in program contents and manage of short 5times program
We knew that there is limits to solve tendency and compromise and the ability of self-understanding. proposal for succeeding study on the basis of result of study, there should be necessary active study of career group consulting program using vocational card that needs to consideration of elementary school curriculum and grade vocational card suitable of related grade property and session and contents that considered lower level factor with care.
