The number of young single-person households in Korea has gradually increased. Although the government has been presenting the policies for them, there are still insufficient policies compared to the demands. Especially, in Seoul where the population is concentrated, it is more difficult for young single-person households to find decent quality houses because of their weak economic ability. In order to solve these housing problems, the type of share house has become one of the suggestions for young single-person households in Seoul. The important advantage of this option is it is possible to reduce the housing cost and to enhance emotional stability through making community with roommate. In this study, we conducted a case study of the share house to verify if they offer proper operation for young single-person households. As a result, it is showed that there is sufficient space and service to encourage the community for young single-person households, and they seek the positive effect on the lifestyle of share house to solve the housing problem of young single-person on that case. Through this research, it is possible to find the clues about the direction of housing alternatives. Also, it is necessary to find a complement on operation for community to prepare to covid-19 pandemic.
