      The purpose of this research was to study the characteristics and effects of the framing and appling individualized education plan(IEP) of physical activity program for children with developmental disabilities and provide useful information to the physical educators. This research was conducted as a case study using qualitative methodology. Data were collected using in-depth interview, observation and documents. The conclusions were drawn as follow: First, the process of appling the IEP was 'referral7, 'making a plan for assessments 'reporting to parents', 'evaluation and analysis of the children's motor skill and fitness, 'developing the IEF, 'appling the IEP, ’evaluation and redeveloping the IEP. Second, the difficulties for appling the IEP were 'difficulty of understanding the children’s unique needs: 'deficiency of teacher s teaching-expertise and motivation, and 'inadequate recognition and demand for the TEF. Third, the effects of appling the IEP were 'improvement of the teacher’s reflective teaching ability。'progress of the teacher’s teaching skill’, ’increase of parents’ accessibility’, ’changing of parents’ recognition and attitude for the physical activity, and 'improvement of physical activity programs:

      The purpose of this research was to study the characteristics and effects of the framing and appling individualized education plan(IEP) of physical activity program for children with developmental disabilities and provide useful information to the physical educators.
