중등 인성교육의 방향 = Articles : A Direction of the Character Education in the Middle and High School -From the Pperspective of Moral Subject Education-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인성 및 인성교육은 도덕과교육의 개정 때마다 관심의 대상이 되어 왔다. 그러나 인성 및 인성교육의 개념이 다소 혼란스러운 상황에서 그것을 도덕과교육에서 적극적으로 수용할 수 있는가는 여전히 논의의 여지가 있다. 본 논문은 도덕과교육의 관점에서 인성교육의 방향, 그 중에서도 중등 학교에서의 방향을 탐색한다. 2007년 개정 도덕과교육과정에서는 반성적 사고 능력의 신장에 초점을 두면서 인성교육과 일정한 거리를 두고 있다. 그러나 2009년 개정 교육과정에 관한 논의에서 인성교육은 도덕과교육의 독립성과 정당성을 옹호하는 논거로 언급되었다. 교육과정의 설계를 책임지고 있는 정부에서도 인성 및 창의성 교육을 교육의 중요한 목표 및 과제로 설정해 왔다. 본 논문은 이러한 점을 고려하여 인성교육이 도덕과교육에서 교수학습방법론의 차원에서 논의되는 것이 바람직함을 주장한다. 아울러 교수학습방법의 하나로써 인성교육의 이론적, 실천적 근거로 미국의 인격교육론과 인격교육 프로그램이 적극적으로 활용될 필요가 있음을 주장한다. 인성교육의 적극적이고 바람직한 활용은 도덕과교육의 교과 경쟁력을 높이는 데 많은 기여를 할 것으로 생각된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

``In-sung`` and ``In-sung education`` have been concerned whenever the revision of curriculum in Korea was required. But there is a complexity of the concepts of them, therefore, to utilize it for a moral subject education have to be examined. This paper deals with the good direction of the ``In-sung education`` from the perspective of moral subject education, especially in the middle and high school. In the ``2007`s revised curriculum in Korea``, a moral subject education keeps a distance with ``In-sung education``, because of the focusing on a reflective thought. Nevertheless, in the debates about a direction of the ``2009``s revised curriculum in Korea, ``In-sung education`` is again reutilized as a cause for the justification and importance of a moral subject education. Considering this situation, in this paper, it is insisted that to utilize ``In-sung education`` as the teaching-learning method or model is more effective for a moral subject education. Related with it, it is too insisted that ``Character Education and Character Education Program`` in USA will be a good ground for a theory and practice of a ``In-sung education`` leaded by a moral subject education in Korea.
