대학생의 문제음주와 성격 5요인, 음주효과 기대, 예방행동전략: 음주동기의 군집비교 = Five Factor Personality, Alcohol Expectancy, Protective Behavioral Strategy and Problematic Drinking of College Students: Comparison of Cluster by Drinking Motive

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study was to investigate differences of college students' problematic drinking, five factor personality, alcohol expectancy and protective behavioral strategy among clusters in drinking motive such as social motive, conformity motive, coping motive and enhancement motive. Moreover, this study aimed to look for suggestion about counseling to the different cluster's features. 502 college students(281 male students, 214 female ones and 7 non-response) participated in this study, and four drinking motives as an independent variable were analyzed by using cluster analysis and multi-variate analysis of variance. The subjects were divided into five groups: first, ‘problematic drinking group’; second, ‘extrinsic motivation group’ third, ‘low-drinking group’; fourth, ‘intrinsic motivation group’ last, ‘right-drinking group’. Significant differences were found among the five clusters in college students' problematic drinking, extraversion, agreeableness, alcohol expectancy and protective behavioral strategy. There was no difference in those groups in point of neuroticism, openness to experience and conscientiousness. Lastly, the implications and limitations of this study were also discussed based on the research findings.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생들의 사교동기, 동조동기, 대처동기, 고양동기와 같은 음주동기를 바탕으로 군집분석을 실시하여 음주동기의 하위집단을 분류하고 각 집단이 문제음주와 성격 5요인, 음주효과 기대, 예방행동전략 사이에서 유의한 차이가 있는지를 밝힘으로써 각 군집의 특성에 맞는 상담의 개입 방안에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 연구대상은 대학생 502명(남학생 281명, 여학생 214명, 무응답 7명)이었고 네 가지 음주동기를 독립변인으로 하여 군집분석 및 다변량 분산분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 5개의 집단(문제음주 집단, 외적 동기가 높은 집단, 내적 동기가 높은 집단, 적정음주 집단, 저음주 집단)으로 구분되었다. 5개의 집단 간 문제음주, 외향성, 친화성, 음주효과 기대, 예방행동전략은 집단 간 유의한 차이가 나타났으며 신경증, 개방성, 성실성은 집단 간 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 연구 결과에 근거하여 각 군집별 상담의 개입 전략에 대해 논의하였다.
