감호학생 교육을 위한 기초조사연구 = The Study of Basic Survey for Education of Nursing Students

On basis of October, 1980, Present time, the survey was conducted with 166 nursin students in the Department of Nursing, Medical College, Chosun University about general characters, environment before entering, the degree of adaptation and satisfaction for nursing science, the purpose of nursing education and perception for nursing, and the degree of adaptation and satisfaction for school life.
I have come to conclusion as follow.
1. Among all respondents, 166 members, 22years(22%) was the most high and average age of all grades was 21. Religion was ranked with "No Religion(43%)", "Christian(29%)", "Catholic(19%)" and 64 percent of them had lived in their own houses. The region of high school of graduation was the most high in the city of Kwang Ju(77%).
2. The days of high school at the time of making choice about entering the Department of Nursing(36%), obscure perception about nursing at the time of making choice(28%), second prefrence in selective motives(33%), and parents as a counselor at the time of making choice(32%) was showed.
3. "Relatively being satisfacted" about the degree of satisfaction after entering(35%,), the service of society with the reason of satisfaction(42%), and bad social recognization with the reason of unsatisfaction(48%) w&s showed.
4. The job called for by society and utilized for domestic life in understanding of nursing(33% respectively), cultivated nurse for the purpose of nursing education(38%), the se giving others good impression with love and kindness in the students image of nursing(39%), and the responsibility in the desirable natural disposition(29%) was showed.
5. "Usually" in the degree of satisfaction about overall school life(40%), deficient educational facilities witb the reason of unsatisfaction(27%), the sense of doubt about nursing ence in the primary cause obstructing schooling(23%), "Usually" in the degree of satisfaction about faculty(48%), deficient insurance of faculty with the reason of unsatisfaction(46%), hobby life in the way of better utilization of leisure time(42%), and personal ation in the big problems being faced now(27%) was showed.
6. In the matter of the relation with other sex, "Need(73%)" "Want to acquaint with many people if the opportunity will be given"(56%) was showed.
The meeting in the motive to meet opposite sex(32%) and the day of freshman in the st relation with other sex(57%) was showed.
7. The degree of physical health was mostly strong but weak partly(9%) and insomnia s showed in mental health(11%).
8. "Only before marriage(26%)", "the desire of employment for the field of clinical nursing(36.%) in the length of service desirable after graduation was showed.
