국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 문학의 자율적 가치에 대한 논점을 중심으로 문학연구가 당면한 물음을 감당해보려는 작은 시도다.문학연구는 불가피하게 자기반영적이다.문학연구의 대상으로서 ‘문학’이란 ‘연구’를 통해 사후적으로 구성되는 어떤 것이다.따라서 연구의 대상으로서 불러 세워진 그 ‘문학’에는 어떤 방식으로든 연구자의 현재적 좌표가 각인될 수밖에 없다.문학의 가치는 그 자체로는 텅 비어 있는 공백이다.중요한 것은 그 공백에 개입해 들어가 문학의 가치를 새로운 지평 위에서 새롭게 구성하려는 작업이다.그렇게 ‘문학성’의 문제를 사유할 때 필연적으로 부딪힐 수밖에 없는 난점중의 하나가 바로 문학의 자율성에 대한 이해다.문학의 자율성은 일종의 가상이지만 그것은 실천적인 효과를 발휘하는 가상이다.그리고 문학의 가치는 그 문학을 붙들고 무언가를 하려는 주체와의 상호작용 속에서 사후적으로 구성되는 어떤 것이다.그런 한에서, 문학이 우리에게 어떤 가치가있는가, 라는 저 물음은 비평적.실천적 물음이면서 동시에 궁극에는 문학연구 내부에서 문학연구 그 자신의 좌표와 가능성을 심문하는 물음이다.문학의 자율성은 문학을 제약하는 문학 바깥의 상징적.물질적 관계체계와의 상호의존을 통해서만 성립하고 또 기능한다.문학은 저 타율적인 것들을 인식하고 의식하는 한에서만 자유롭고 또 자율적일 수 있다.문학연구의 거점은 그런 의미에서의 문학의 자유와 자율이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This essay is an attempt to coping with the questions facing literary studies focusing the issue of autonomous value of literature. Literary studies are self-reflective unavoidably. “Literature” is something which reconstructed after the fact by literary studies. Therefore a researcher’s actual coordinate stamped on that literature as the object of studies in every way. The value of literature is empty vacuum in itself. The point is the work intervene in that vacuum and then newly constructing the value of literature with a new horizon. When we rethinking literacy as such, the most problems is the interpretation of autonomy of literature. Autonomy of literature is one of semblance, but it is semblance displays practical effect And the value of literature is something constructed after the fact in the interaction with subject who do something with literature. In that sense, the question what price literature is critical and practical one and at the same time the one which examine the coordinate and possibility of literary studies itself in it. Autonomy of literature comes into being and functions only by interdependence with outer symbolic and material related systems which constrict literature. Literature can be free and autonomous only when it recognize and is aware that external thing. The base of literary studies is liberty and autonomy in that sense.
