맞벌이 여성의 일가족갈등과 스트레스의 관계에서 가구 소득수준의 영향 = Relationship Between Work-Family Conflict and Stress: Moderating Effect of Household Income

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study set out to investigate relationship between work-family conflict and stress level and especially moderating effect of household income. Data came from Korean Survey of Women and Family 2017. The final sample size was 1,354 married employed women in South Korea. Analysis methods were multiple regression analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, married employed women’s work-family conflict showed no difference according to the household income level. Second, household income moderated significantly the relationship between work-family conflict and stress level. This means that work-family conflict's effect on stress was stronger among particularly economically disadvantaged women. The limitations and implications of the findings from this study were discussed with respect to further studies.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 소득계층이 낮을수록 맞벌이 여성의 일가족갈등이 높아지는지 또 일가족갈등이 맞벌이 여성의 스트레스 증가에 미치는 영향이 가구 소득수준이 낮을수록 심화되는지 검토하기 위하여 여성가족패널 자료 중 임금근로에 종사하는 맞벌이 여성 1,354명의 자료를 분석하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가구 소득수준은 일가족갈등에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 저소득 가구일수록 일가족갈등이 높다는 것은 지지되지 않았다. 둘째, 일가족갈등이 맞벌이 여성의 스트레스에 미치는 부정적인 영향은 고소득층보다 중간소득층과 저소득층에서 더 크게 나타났는데 이는 고소득층일수록 일가족갈등이 발생시키는 부정적인 결과를 완화시킬 수 있는 사회경제적 자원이 더 많기 때문이다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 일가족갈등과 그 결과에 있어 가구 소득계층의 영향을 논의하고 이를 완화할 수 있는 사회정책에 대해 논의하였다.
