중학생의 스마트폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 변인 간의 구조적 관계|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 구조방정식모형을 활용하여 생태체계적 관점에서 스마트폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 개인체계, 가족체계, 사회체계, 매체특성들간의 구조적 관계를 살펴보았다. 연구 참여자는 중학생 698명으로 매체특성요인, 자기통제력, 우울척도, 부모-자녀 의사소통, 가족지지, 친구지지, 교사관계, 학교생활만족도, 스마트폰 중독 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족체계와 스마트폰 중독간의 관계에서 개인체계의 매개효과가 나타났다. 둘째, 사회체계와 스마트폰 중독간의 관계에서 개인체계의 매개효과가 확인되었다. 셋째, 매체 특성이 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 직접효과가 확인되었다. 넷째, 생태학적 관점에서 스마트폰 중독에 대한 개인체계, 가족체계, 사회체계, 매체 특성의 구조모형이 적합한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 스마트폰 중독을 감소시키기 위해 자기통제력, 우울의 개인체계, 부모-자녀 의사소통, 가족지지의 가족체계, 친구지지, 교사관계, 학교생활만족도의 사회체계뿐만 아니라 이동성, 즉시성의 매체특성을 함께 고려할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 제한점으로는 스마트폰 중독 청소년이 아닌 일반 청소년을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다는 점과 지역사회의 영향을 함께 고려하지 못했다는 점이다. 시사점으로는 생태학적 관점에서 중학생의 스마트폰 중독을 예측하는 변인들의 구조모형을 밝혔다는 점이다. 추후 연구를 위한 제안을 논의하였다.

In the present study, the relationship among media-specific factors, individual systems, family systems, and social systems was examined, using structural equation model. 698 middle school students participated in the study. To examine the effects of the above factors, all subjects completed the following survey tools; Media-Specific Factor, Self-Control Scale, Beck Depression Inventory, Parent-Adolescent Communication Family Inventory, Family Support, Peer Support, Teacher Relationship, School Life Satisfaction Inventory, Smartphone Addiction Inventory. The results of this study were as follows: First, the factor of individual system was seen to have exerted as mediation variable between the factors of family system and smartphone addiction. Second, individual system was observed to exert influence as mediation variable between social system and smartphone addiction. Third, the media-specific factor correlated with smartphone addiction. Fourth, structural model on smartphone addiction was proved to be an accurate and appropriate one. Therefore, in order to help middle school students deal with smartphone addiction, individual system, family system, social system were considered. Implications for further research were discussed.
