이 논문은 러시아의 군사 교리 및 지역 안보 정책의 핵심 요소로서 러시아의 접근 차단/지역 거부(A2/AD) 전략을 탐구한다. 다극화되는 국제 질서 속에서 글로벌 강대국 지위를 회복하려는 러시아의 야망에서 비롯된 본 연구는 모스크바가 통합된 장거리 정밀무기, 첨단방공 시스템, 전자전, 포병을 활용하여 다층적 다영역 거부 구역을 구축하는 방식을 분석한다. 칼리닌그라드, 크림반도, 발트해와 흑해, 북극, 동부 지중해 등에서 A2/AD 전략의 전략적 적용에 초점을 맞추어, 단순 무기 평가를 넘어서 러시아 전략의 작전적 일관성을 강조하는 지역 비교 분석을 제시한다. 공식 자료, 싱크탱크 분석, 최근 분쟁 데이터를 종합하여 러시아의 A2/AD가 NATO의 기동 자유를 제한하고 개입 비용을 증가시키며 "기정사실(fait accompli)" 프레임워크 하에서 신속하고 제한적인 공격을 가능하게 한다고 주장한다. 연구 결과는 NATO의 억제 전략, 병력 배치 조정 및 지역 안정 유지에 중요한 통찰을 제공한다.

This article examines Russia's Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2/AD) strategy, which is a key part of its military doctrine and regional security policy. The study argues that Moscow uses a combination of long-range precision weapons, advanced air defenses, electronic warfare, and artillery to create layered, multi-domain "denial zones." By analyzing the application of this strategy in regions like Kaliningrad, Crimea, the Baltic and Black Seas, the Arctic, and the Eastern Mediterranean, the paper moves beyond simple weapons lists to show how Russia's approach complicates NATO's freedom of action. By synthesizing official sources, think-tank analyses, and recent conflict data, it argues that Russian A2/AD complicates NATO's freedom of maneuver, raises intervention costs, and enables rapid, limited offensives under a "fait accompli" framework. These findings offer important insights for NATO's deterrence strategies and force posture adjustments.
