스마트시티 플랫폼을 통한 디지털 커뮤니티 역량강화 프로세스 = Digital Community Empowerment Process via Smart City Platform

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 시민참여시대 핵심 연구주제로 부상하고 있는 스마트시티 플랫폼을 통한 디지털 커뮤니티의 활성화 방안을 다루기 위해 플랫폼이라고 하는 사이버공간에서 디지털 커뮤니티가 형성되고 그 역할들이 점차 강화되는 과정과 특징들을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 30여개의 전 세계 스마트플랫폼의 유사성과 차이점들을 분석하고 스마트시티 환경에서 커뮤니티 역량 강화에 기여하는 요인을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 군집분석을 통한 플랫폼의 특성 도출은 물론 디지털 커뮤니티의 도시데이터 작성 유무, 데이터의 활용과정에서의 시민사회의 역할, 정보 공유의 형태와 같은 질적 분석을 병행한 혼합적 방법을 활용하였다. 이를 통해 스마트시티 플랫폼이 지역사회의 역량 강화에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 분석결과 디지털 플랫폼을 통해 커뮤니티에 힘을 실어주는 데 중추적인 역할을 하는 핵심요인은 공동 창조, 협업, 정보 공유 및 시민 참여 등으로 나타났다. 또한 각 요인별 실행수준의 차이가 디지털 커뮤니티의 활동성에 중요한 요소임을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구는 정책 입안자, 도시 계획가 및 플랫폼 개발자가 각 스마트시티가 추구하는 비전이나 목적에 맞게 디지털 커뮤니티의 역량을 강화하는 효과적인 전략을 설계하는 것을 지원할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다
