    The purpose of the study is to analyze the contents of current primary science curriculum, survey the childrens` attitudes toward them and finally give suggestions for more effective science teaching. Different leveled questionnaires were presented to 792 primary children who were from grade two to six. Each grade children were given by the questionnaires consisted of the contents of their science textbook. Analyses of the resulting data revealed several significant findings concerned with the childrens` interest in the science textbook contents.
