This study aims to identify the key success factors for scaling up blockchain tourism startups using the ERIS model. In-depth interviews and the Delphi method were conducted to develop survey items. The final conclusions were derived using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA).
The AHP analysis was designed with three hierarchical levels. The first-level analysis of the ERIS model revealed that Entrepreneur(E) ranked highest, followed by Strategy(S), Industry Environment(I), and Resources(R) in that order.
Based on the IPA graph, which evaluates factors in terms of both importance and acceptability, the study identified the current status and proposed future improvement strategies. This research provides essential strategic insights for scaling up blockchain tourism startups, laying a foundation for further academic research and practical applications in the field.
