      The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore the learning experiences of adult students in college. In order to understand how they had adapt to college life and what their unique ways of learning were, the study conducted in-depth interviews with 20 adults aged between 30 and 50. Most of the participants pointed out that they learned to develop autonomous learning strategies and to interact with others in order to adapt as adult students. The participants indicated the importance of learning from experience in order to develop their own learning strategies and using the internet, as it provided various learning resources and expanded their social networking. Another important learning experience was to interact with others since having dialogue with others enhanced their studies and expanded or transformed their thinking. It was also important for the participants to get support from other adult students as they went through difficult times as adult students in college.
