대학생의 성격유형과 리더십생활기술의 관계 = The Relation between Personality Type Using MBTI and Leadership Life Skills of University Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between personality type using MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and leadership life skills of university students in public administration. It is expected that the leadership life skills would be represented differently according to their personality types. The data was collected from 147 students enrolled the course of public administration of a university, and MBTI was used to identify students' personality in the first semester of 2017. MANOVA method was conducted to examine the difference in leadership life skills by personality type.
The findings of this study are as follows. The MBTI personality type is significantly related to leadership life skills. The extravert(E) type students had significantly higher score in leadership life skills than the introvert(I) type, the intuition(N) than the sensing(S), the feeling(F) than the thinking(T), and the judging(J) than the perceiving(P). The results provide important insights into programs for developing and training leadership. It is suggested that MBTI can be utilized in leadership development.
