교회의 다문화복지 의식과 복지 실태에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 전도사들의 다문화복지 의식과 소속교회의 다문화복지 실태를 조사하여 교회의 다문화 복지 실천을 위한 대안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 호남권 소재 교회에서 사역을 하고 있는 부교역자인 전도사들을 대상으로 연구한 결과 부역자들의 다문화복지 의식은 매우 높은 것으로 나타났으나, 소속교회의 다문화복지사업의 실태는 매우 저조하였다. 의식과 현실 간에 매우 큰 격차가 있었으며, 교회의 다문화복지사업 활성화를 위해 신학대학 교육과정의 다문화 복지 과목개설, 교회 다문화복지 교육활성화, 총회 차원에서의 다문화 주간을 통한 관심 증대, 기독교복지기관에서의 교회와의 연계 방안에 대하여 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was about suggesting some plans of church social work practice for cultural diverse clients or families. The subjects in this study was preachers who were working at their churches in Jeollabuk-do and Jeollanam-do. As the result, this survey found that the subjects had much knowledge of social work programs and services, but great lack of social work practice in their churches for culturally different clients. To overcome this difficulties, this researcher suggested introducing theological students to courses related to social work practice for culturally diverse families, the growth of educational program for them at churches, the establishment of a special week to reconsider members’ conception of multiculturalism within churches, and multicultural outreach program at churches linked with facilities of church social work.
