충북 영동군 일부 농촌지역 주민의 장내기생충 감염 실태 = An Epidemiological Survey of Helminthic Infections Among Inhabitants in Youngdong-Gun, Chungbuk Province

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적 : 충북 영동군 일부 농촌지역의 기생충 감염상을 파악하고자 하였다
대상 및 방법 : 영동군 상촌면 6개리 주민 300명 중 검사에 응한 190례(남82 및 여180례)에 대하여 셀로판후층도말법과 포르말린 에테르 집란법을 실시하고, 이들 중 181례에 대한 설문 조사를 병행하였다
결과 : 충란 양성율은 2.1%(4/190)로서 간흡층이 0.53%, 메타고니무스흡층이 1.58%이었다. 남자의 감염율은 3.65%(3/82), 여자의 감염율은 0.93%(1/108)이었고 이들은 모두 40, 50대 연령층 이었다. 민물고기를 생식한 경험이 있는 대상자는 18.8% (34/181)이었다.
결론 : 패류매개성 기생충만 발견되었으며 민물고기를 생식하는 습관이 있기 때문인 것으로 파악되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose : A survey was performed to observe the present status of helminthic infections in inhabitances of Youngdong-Gun, Chungbuk province.
Materials and Methods : Total 190(male:82 female:108) stool specimens were collected and examined by formalin-ether concentration technique and cellophane thick smear. Quetionaire survey was also done with 181 subjects.
Results : Total infection rate of 2.1% with two kinds of helminth ova was observed: Clonorchis sinensis 0.53% and Metagonimus sp. 1.58%. All of them were 40-50 years old and the infection rate of male(3.65%) was higher than that of female(0.93%). Questionaire survey revealed 18.5%(34/181) of the subjects had experiences of eating raw freshwater fished.
Conclusion : Snail-transmitted parasites were only observed in this area and it seemed to have a close relationship with the eating habit of raw fishes.
