무도수련과 경호원의 직무만족에 관한 연구 = Influence of the Training Degree of Martial Arts on Job Satisfaction of a Bodyguard

The purpose of the present study is to clartfy about how the training of martial arts influences on duty satisfaction, job satisfaction and duty indulgence by selecting the training of martial arts, which is typical body activity of bodyguards, as variable In order to achieve the research purpose, bodyguards of S Co, C Co, A Co and D Co, who are private bodyguards over 2 years' career, are set as a population, and research subjects of 500 persons were selected by using a simple random sampling method and then the questionnaire used by Seong-suk Jeong(2005) was used after being corrected and complemented to meet the purpose of the present study
In order to verify difference of duty satisfaction according to general characteristics of bodyguards, One-way ANOVA was carried out and then the Sheff method was used for posterior analysis for comparing the difference between groups The results induced by carrying out an independent t-test to verify difference of duty satisfaction according to gender of bodyguards are as follows
First, it appeared that there is difference in all inherent and extrinsic factors among duty satisfaction according to a guard form of bodyguards
Second, it appeared that there is difference job satisfaction and duty indulgence according to a guard form of bodyguards
Third, it appeared that although there was no difference in duty satisfaction according to the age of bodyguards among demographic variables, there is difference in job satisfaction and duty indulgence
Forth, it appeared that there is difference in duty satisfaction, job satisfaction and duty indulgence according to the academic background of bodyguards among demographic variables
Fifth, it appeared that although there was no difference in duty satisfaction according to the career of bodyguards among demographic varibles, there is difference in job satisfaction and duty indulgence
Sixth, it appeared that although there was no difference in duty satisfaction accoreing to an annual salary of bodyguards among demographic variables, there is difference in job satisfaction and duty indulgence
Seventh, it appeared that there is no difference in duty satisfaction, job satisfaction and duty indulgence according to the event of martial arts' training
Eighth, it appeared that although there was no difference in duty satisfaction according to the period of martial arts' training, there is difference in job satisfaction and duty indulgence

국문 초록 (Abstract)

물질만능주의로 경제적 윤택함을 누리는 현대인은 안락하고 편리한며, 편안함 삶을 추구하는 경향을 보인다 그러나 현대인의 이러한 라이프스타일은 인간의 정신적, 육체적 부분을 과거 먹고사는 문제로 고민하던 우리의 부모세대에 비해 의존적이고 수동적인 나약한 인간으로 만들어 버렸다 반면에 현대인들의 이러한 특징은 나약해진 현대인을 상대로 범죄를 저지르는 범죄자자들이 범죄행위에 대한 두려움이나 위험성을 느끼지 못하게 하여 그들을 더욱 강하게 만들고 있다
위와 같은 연유로 현대시대에는 강력범죄가 날로 증가하고 있으며, 이러한 범죄의 예방과 치안업무를 담당하기 위해 경찰이 존재하고 있다 하지만 전 국민을 대상으로 막중한 임무를 수행하기에는 인력과 장비면에서 너무나 부족하다 이에 대한 대처로 최근 민간경호의 중요성을 인식하게 되었고, 현실적으로 많은 민간경호 · 경비회사가 설립되고 있는 실정이다
경호 · 경비관련 업체에서 사용되는 경호무도의 기술들을 보면 너무 많은 종류의 기술과 갖가지의 어려운 동작 또는 너무 과격한 기술들로 구성되어 있어 여러 가지 상황에서 응용되어질 수 있는 상황대처 능력을 기대하기 어렵다 그러나 가장 큰 문제점으로 정립되지 못한 부분 중에 하나는 경호무도의 기술적인 총합과 체계적이고 합리적인 수련방법이 해결되지 못하고 있다는 것이다 이에 따라 태권도가 가지는 장점인 기술체계와 정신력 그리고 수련체계가 정립되어 있다는 면에서 경호무도로서의 가치가 입증된다고 할 수 있다
지금까지의 경호무도에 관한 선행 연구들은 경호무도의 수련 원칙, 형태, 방법, 적용데 대한 것들 이었다 현재 많은 대학에서 경호 관련 인력을 배출하고 있고, 경호시장이 넓어지고 있는 실정에서 타인과 자신을 지키기 위해 필요할 수밖에 없는 경호무도수련에 따른 경호 직업 만족도의 영향을 실증적으로 입증할 필요성이 대두되고 있다
따라서, 본 연구에서는 경호원들의 대표적인 신체활동인 무도수련을 변인으로 선정하여, 무도수련이 경호원 직무만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 규명하고자 했다
