    This study were to comparative on quality of life in type of community. For the survey, we divided area type and sampled the subjects through proportionate quota sampling. A total of 1,185 questionnaires were used as the valid sample in the final analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, self-support program participants were reflected the characters of population. Second, self-support program participants` quality of life level according to type of community, especially rural community was higher than another community. Third, income of households and type of community were most important factors on quality of life.
