This study has been performed to analyze general perception of college students on helping behaviors of their grandparents. In this study, it was observed that students perceive their grandparents` helping behaviors negatively in general. They feel that their grandparents are not helpful for giving advises on critical decisions, guiding and encouraging daily lives, and offering financial and active assistances when urgently needed. There are also gender differences on perception particularly, male students perceive that their grandparents are not helpful for eating outside together, caring when sick, and giving critical assistances on urgent situations, while females perceive somewhat positive on the same issues. Overall in this study, it is proposed that education for evaluating the image be intensified more onto male students living without their grandparents in the same household.
