아동의 비만스트레스와 사회성과의 관계 = The Relationship between the Sociality and the Obesity Stress of Children

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the sociality and obesity stress of children. The subjects were 421 children who were sampled from third and sixth grade at three elementary school in Seoul and Kyungi Province. The height, body weight and body fat; the levels of obesity; and the obesity stress of the subjects were assessed. The sociality of children were measured by a questionnaire with 28 items. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and multiple-regression using SAS program. The result of this study were as follows : 1) Contrast with non-obese children, obese children were significantly high level in obesity stress. The result showed that obesity stress was higher than their obesity. 2) According to the relationship between sociality and obesity stress, obesity stress by physical uncomfortableness was higher than those of leadership and law-abiding. And the more efforts to overcome obesity stress was, the more autonomy, leadership and diligence. The higher psychological stress by obesity, the less politeness, autonomy, diligence, stability, and social intercourse.
