중소기업 기술협력의 장기관계지향성에 관한 실증연구 = An Empirical Study on Long-Term Relationship Orientation in Technology Cooperation of Small and Medium Sized Firms

국문 초록 (Abstract)

기술협력의 중요성이 대두되면서 자원의 제약에 처해있는 많은 국내중소기업들은 기술협력 관계를 유지하면서 기업의 성장을 이루어내고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 환경의 변화는 중소기업의 경영활동에 큰 걸림돌로 작용하고 있다. 특히, 외부환경의 변화는 국내중소기업들이 형성한 기술협력과 같은 교환관계에서 상호 간의 불신과 갈등을 유발시킬 수도 있기 때문에, 때로는 우호적인 협력관계의 종결을 발생시킬 수도 있다. 이러한 이유로, 본 연구는 기술협력 관계를 형성하고 있는 국내중소기업들을 대상으로, 상대 파트너 기업의 기회주의적 행동에 대한 환경 불확실성의 영향을 규명하고, 장기관계지향성에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 유의성을 검증하였다. 또한 환경불확실성의 평균값을 이용하여 분석의 대상인 중소기업을 두 기업군으로 나누어 영향요인들의 유의성에 대해서 추가분석을 실시하였다.
분석결과를 살펴보면, 환경불확실성은 상대 파트너 기업의 기회주의적 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 장기관계지향성을 종속변수로 설정하고 전체기업을 대상으로 한 분석에서는 환경불확실성과 관계복잡성이 장기관계지향성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 환경불확실성의 평균값을 이용한 추가분석의 결과에서는 기회주의적 행동과 관계복잡성의 유의성이 환경의 불확실성을 낮게 인지하는 기업군에서만 발견되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Since the importance of technology cooperation has been known, domestic small and medium sized firms with limited resources have been developed through technology cooperation. However, because environment change would result in the conflict to the firms in the relationship of technology cooperation, a good relationship of the technology cooperation can be finished. Due to this, focusing on domestic small and medium sized firms, this study investigated the effect of environment uncertainty on opportunistic behavior, and examined the statistical significance of the factors(environment uncertainty, opportunistic behavior, and relationship complexity) affecting on long-term relationship orientation. Moreover, using the mean of environment uncertainty, this study made two sample groups and investigated the effects of environment uncertainty, opportunistic behavior, and relationship complexity on long-term relationship orientation. The positive impact of environment uncertainty on opportunistic behavior is reported. In an empirical analysis with total sample firms, environment uncertainty and relationship complexity positively affected long- term relationship orientation. However, in using the mean of environment uncertainty, the statistical significances of opportunistic behavior and relationship complexity are found only in the sample firms with less perceiving for environment uncertainty.
