The purpose of this study is to attempt the bibliographical analysis about the contents of Unhaeduchangjipyo(諺解痘瘡集要) compiled by Hu. Joon.
What are described earlier can be summarized as follows:
Changjinjib(瘡疹集) was compiled in the times of King Sejo. When this book disappeared during that war. King Sunjo gave Joon Hu an order to recompile with Kukupbang(救急方), Taesangyorok(胎産要錄). Joon Hu began to compile three books independently from 1601. After finishing recompiling three books, he reported it to King Sunjo but received an order to annotate in Korean. After adding anotation, Unhaekukupbang(諺解救急方) was published and distributed by Naeiwon(內醫院) in 1607, Unhaeduchangjipyo and Unhaetaesanjibyo(諺解胎産集要) in 1608.
Comparing this book with Dongibogam(東醫寶鑑). in the case of the copied script of Unhaeduchangjipyo, the number of wrong words is 31 items, the number of the omitted words 25 items. the number of the blanks 95 items, and the number of synonym 59 items.
The analysis about the reference books of Unhaeduchangjipyo says that the number of no reference source is 73 items, the number of the re-quotation 10 items, the number of the unconfirmed part 28 items.
Comparing the contents of this book with Dongibogam, it included the contents of the book here and there. The contents of Unhaeduchangjipyo was included in Dongibogam's Vol. 11 Children.
When comparing this book with Dongibogam, it hardly had wrong letters and the blanks but inclued the treatment in detail whereas in the book many wrong words and the blanks could be found and the contents about the treatment were poor and simple. In addition, the book had been published earlier than Dongibogam. Therefore, it can be inference that the book became bases of Dongibogam.
