디지털 시민교육의 의의 및 도덕과 접근 방안 탐색 = Exploring the Significance of Digital Citizenship Education and Its Approaches to Moral Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 미래 사회를 맞이하며 갈수록 그 의미가 중대해지는 디지털 시민교육의 의의를 밝히고, 도덕과 차원에서의 접근 방안을 이론과 실제 측면에서 탐색하였다. 이와 관련하여 디지털 시민교육을 민주시민교육의 확장 측면에서 도출하는 한편, 안정성과 지속성 그리고 다양성을 확보할 수 있도록 학교 교과 교육과정 전반에서 다루어져야 함을 역설하였다. 그리고 도덕과 차원에서는 책임의 의미를 공동체(혹은 시민 상호 간) 수준과 개인(혹은 독립된 시민) 수준에서 설정하며, 그 각각의 가치를 교육과정 성취기준 상에서 강조해야 함을 주장하였다.

This study explores the significance of digital citizenship education and its approaches to moral education, both theoretically and practically. Firstly, it establishes that digital citizenship education can be considered an extension of democratic citizenship education. Secondly, it underscores the importance of implementing digital citizenship education across the entire school curriculum to ensure consistency, longevity, and diversity. Lastly, in the context of moral education, this study highlights the necessity of establishing responsibilities at both the community and individual levels. It emphasizes that the moral education curriculum should align with this concept and reflect its values in achievement standards.
