Adolescents’ Involvement in Internet Games = From Therapeutic Recreation Perspectives

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 청소년들의 인터넷 사용과 관련하여 많은 여가 및 스포츠 연구자들의 관심이 모아지고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 인터넷 사용과 관련된 관여도 (Involvement) 에 대한 연구는 여가 및 스포츠 연구에서 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구는 인터넷 이용 청소년들의 관여도프로파일을 조사하여 청소년들의 흥미를 끌 수 있는 여가 및 스포츠 프로그램을 치료레크리에이션 관점에서 개발하는데 주목적을 두었다. 본 연구는 방과후 프로그램에 참여하는 중학생들을 대상으로 비확률표본추출법 중 편의표집방법 (Convenience sampling)을 이용하여 실시하였다(n=212). 관여도 설문은 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증된 Laurent와 Kapferer (1985)의 다차원적 관여도프로파일을 이용하였다. 본 연구를 통해 선행연구와 유사하게 관여도의 다차원성이 입증되었으며, 교차분석을 통해 응답자들의 집단은 쾌락놀이형, 자기표현놀이형, 위험추구놀이형, 고관여인터넷놀이형으로 구분되었다. 본 연구는 다양한 욕구와 특성을 가진 인터넷게임 이용 집단의 이용 동기를 이해하고 교육적이며 치료적인 여가스포츠프로그램을 개발하는데 관여도가 활용될 수 있음을 강조하였다.
