스페인어의 동사원형 구문에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Nominal Infinitives in Spanish

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the traditional grammar, the nominal infinitive has been investigated by such many linguists as Bello (1981), Gili Gaya (1986)...etc. However, these studies can`t explain the syntactic structure of the nominal infinitive construction in Spanish. The purpose of this paper is to examine the properties of the infinitive, and to suggest a revised analysis of the constructions in Spanish. In this study, I propose that the differences between the constructions of infinitive in various languages is derived from the properties of the head functional Agr(eement) in the Clausal Syntax, to be exact, Agr in Spanish is defined as the strong but in French, as the weak. Under this view, the nominal infinitive in Spanish has the head functional abstract Agr, whereas the infinitive in French, no.
