우리나라 산림박물관의 전시기법 분석 = Analysis of Exhibition Techniques of Forest Museums in Korea

The purpose of the present study was to analyze the trends of exhibition media, which are theexhibition of forest museums, which are forest culture facilities, and establish and operate forest museum exhibitionmedia operation models based on the results of the analysis. The study subjects were 10 forest museums includingnational forest museums and public forest museums and their exhibition techniques were analyzed. Collected datawere statistically analyzed using SPSS ver. 17.0. Expected values and satisfaction were analyzed by conductingreliability analyses, one-way ANOVAs, T-tests, and importance-satisfaction analyses. The results of analyses ofsatisfaction with the forest museums’ exhibition techniques in relation to their expected values showed that all itemswere significant at a significance level of 95%. The satisfaction scores of the forest museums’ exhibition techniqueswere not higher than their expected values in any item and the satisfaction scores were low in all items. In particular,the scores of items; exhibition spaces, the creativity of materials, and experience type exhibition were shown to bethe lowest at approximately two points. The results of expected value-satisfaction analyses of 15 items of expectedvalues and satisfaction indicated that two items should be corrected with first priority and 13 items requiredcontinued effort. The items that should be corrected with first priority are the creativity of internal exhibition spacesand exhibited materials and experience type exhibition. Therefore, the forest museums should be specialized andparticipation type programs should be developed. In particular, in the case of the creativity of exhibition, the exhibition patterns of the 10 forest museums were similar. Therefore, the forest museums should be improved interms of exhibition spaces or planning. To expand experience type exhibition facilities, programs that can beexperienced by the people with their children are necessary because of the current systems of five working days perweek and learning after school. To activate Saturday cultural projects, many studies are necessary to developparticipation type experiencing exhibition programs shared with arboretums. Besides, items such the qualitativelevels of exhibits, preserving conditions, arrangement intervals, and design conditions should be continuouslysupplemented.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

산림문화 시설인 산림박물관의 전시기법을 분석하여 산림박물관 전시 운영 모델을 정립하여 활용하고자 한다. 연구대상지는 국립산림박물관과 공립산림박물관 등 10개소를 대상으로 산림박물관의 전시기법을 분석한다. 수집된 데이터의 통계분석은 SPSS ver. 17.0을 이용하여 분석한다. 기대치와 만족도는 신뢰도 분석, 일원배치분산분석, T-검정 및 기대치-만족도분석을 실시한다. 산림박물관 전시기법의 기대치에 대한 만족도 분석결과, 유의수준 95%에서 모든 항목이 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 산림박물관 전시기법의 기대치보다 만족도가높은 항목은 없으며, 만족도는 모두 낮게 나타났다. 특히 전시공간 및 자료의 독창성 및 체험형 전시 항목은 2점대로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 기대치와 만족도의 15개 항목에 대하여 기대치-만족도 분석한 결과, 2개 항목이 우선시정 필요, 13개 항목이 지속적 노력 필요로 분류되었다. 우선시정이 필요한 항목은 내부 전시공간 및 전시자료의 독창성, 체험형 전시로 산림박물관의 특성화와 참여형 프로그램 개발이 필요하다. 특히 전시의 독창성의 경우10개 산림박물관의 전시패턴이 비슷하여 전시공간이나 기획 측면에서 개선되어야 한다. 또한 체험형 전시시설의확충은 현재 주5일 근무와 방과 후 학습으로 국민들이 자녀들과 함께 체험할 수 있는 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다. 토요문화사업의 활성화를 위하여 수목원과 공유하는 참여형 체험전시 프로그램 개발에 많은 연구가 필요하다. 그 외의 전시물의 질적수준, 보존상태, 배치간격 및 디자인 상태 등의 항목은 지속적으로 보완해야 한다.
