초등학생의 ADHD성향과 학습양식과의 관계분석 = Analysis of Relationships between ADHD Symptoms and Learning Styles of Elementary School Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초등학생들의 ADHD성향이 그들의 학습양식과 어떠한 관계가 있는지 알아보고, 이러한 학습양식의 차이에 따라 ADHD성향이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향이 어떻게 달라지는지 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 서울, 인천, 대구지역 5개 초등학교 4-6학년 학생 1,197명을 대상으로 연구자료가 수집되었다. 분석된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ADHD성향에 따라 초등학생들의 학습양식이 달라지는 것으로 나타났는데 특히, 주의력결핍 성향이 과잉행동/충동성 성향보다 학습양식에 더 유의한 영향을 미칠 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, ADHD성향과 학습양식과의 관계는 초등학생의 개별특성 중 성별에 따라 다르게 나타났는데 여학생들 보다 남학생들의 경우에 주의력결핍 성향이 학습양식에 더 부정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학습양식에 따라 ADHD성향이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향이 달라지는지를 분석한 바에 따르면, 의존형과 협동형 학습양식 수준에 따라 주의력결핍 성향이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향이 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 보다 구체적으로 학습양식에 있어서 협동수준이 높고, 의존수준이 낮은 초등학생들의 경우 주의력결핍 성향이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향이 현저히 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between ADHD symptoms and learning styles of elementary school students, and to examine the influence of the ADHD symptoms on their academic achievement based on their learning styles. Research data were collected from 1,197 four to six grade students of 5 schools in Seoul, Incheon, and Daegu educational regions. The results were as follows. First, ADHD symptoms of the students had significant relationships with their learning styles. In particular, the influence of inattention symptoms on their learning styles was greater than that of hyperactivity/impulsiveness symptoms. Second, the relationships between ADHD symptoms and learning styles were different based on their gender. Compared to female students, the inattention symptom of male students was more likely to give negative influence on their learning styles. Third, the influence of inattention symptom on their academic achievement was different based on their dependent and cooperative learning style level. More specifically, for the students who had less dependent and/or more cooperative learning styles, the negative influence of the inattention symptom on their academic achievement was significantly decreased.
