The purpose of this study is to investigate the general and specific story reflected in the educational field as a married early childhood teacher about the understanding of infants and parents, the teaching of curriculum, and teacher qualification through experience of parenting children. This study set up the following research question according to this purpose.
Research question. What is the qualification change of the married early childhood teacher that was acquired through experience of child rearing?
The subjects of this study were early childhood teachers who have intimacy with the researcher to improve the completeness of research, and some of the researchers were selected as the recommendation of their colleagues who are attending the graduate school. Full-scale data collection was conducted through semi-structured in-depth interviews, unstructured in-depth interviews, from April 20, 2016 to May 14, 2016, after obtaining prior consent from the research participants. During in-depth interview, we recorded using a smart-phone. In-depth interviews were conducted twice for each participant total 8 times, ranging from 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes in accordance with the time and place that possible research participants can easily participate in the interview. During the actual interviews, we asked the participant's attitudes changed through parenting through semi-structured interviews based on the questionnaire and naturally exchanged stories with the researchers and talked about experiences and thoughts through unstructured interviews. First, to analyze the data, the researcher repeatedly read in-depth interviews of each research participants, and analyzed the meaning referring to early childhood teacher qualification of Lee, Eunhwa et al. (1995) and the category and contents of early childhood teacher qualification of Lee, Kisook et al. (2015) based on a similar keyword, and derived the final category by categorizing it four times in total. Research findings through this research process are as follows.
First, the attitude toward infants was changed through experience of parenting children. It was changed to attitude and acceptance attitude to understand deeply about life rhythm of individual infant, and the viewpoint of looking at infant tendency from the aspect of personality changed into the viewpoint that can be changed by the teacher's effort. Also, considering the life in the home, it was changed to an attitude of understanding based on the knowledge of raising children.
Second, the attitude of parents was changed through experience of parenting children. They appeared to think more from the viewpoint of mother, and to read the mind. They played a role as teachers in the workplace, empathized with parents in terms of the role of mother, and thought that they would have the same mind if they were mothers. They were said to form a consensus with their mothers based on experience of parenting children, and an opportunity to become a deep story in the same story material.
Third, the curriculum direction was changed through experience of parenting children. They are concerned about education about knowledge such as story-telling before experience of parenting children, while they sympathize with mother's mind and made a diet guide based on the experience that they were nervous about not their children eating rice well. They guided hygiene and cleanliness carefully and talked to infants about how to deal with harmful environmental factors, and the attitude of practicing safe has appeared. Teachers also recognized the importance of safe living by empathizing with parents, and were trying to teach safety through various methods such as language, behavior, and data utilization. Thinking that friendship was the most important thing through experience of parenting children, they directed so that they can form friendships smoothly in the entire activity of running their own class. It was changed to an attitude of seeking and helping the infant to help his / her friends feel presence because they wanted to see them.
Fourth, the perception of teacher's personality was changed through experience of parenting children. Recognizing the importance of consistently and truly loving teachers, it is said that the viewpoint of the infant changed from the object of work to the object to be responsible for. They thought teachers who is visible to others but have a loving heart was more important than the part that is visible to others. Also recognizing the importance of a sincere educator, they tried to think of children as their children several times a day when they were treating them. Recognizing the importance of teachers who provide careful care, they thought that a teacher who felt comfortable as a friend with a comfortable atmosphere for infants, and sometimes felt like a mother was a good teacher.
The results of this study suggest that experience of parenting children is an important factor to early childhood teacher among individual factors that have a great influence on teaching development. Thus, there is a need to try to be a teacher practicing in a positive direction based on the perception of changed teacher qualifications through experience of parenting children in the field of early childhood education. In addition, married early childhood teachers should try to help the child 's development without loss of educational balance when cooperating with parents. Finally, it will be necessary to systematically improve the work environment so that home and work can be performed simultaneously. To be institutionalized, the related research should be activated so that the government and early childhood education institution operators can recognize the positive aspect of teacher qualification change through experience of parenting children. The results of this study showed that the married early childhood teacher understands the importance of teacher qualification that affects the whole curriculum through experience of parenting children, and it is expected to be used as a basic data to grasp the meaning of experience of parenting children, which is one of the determining factors affecting teacher qualification.
