리눅스를 이용한 수업과정안이 중학교 기술과 “인터넷 활용 단원”의 학업성취도에 미치는 효과 = The Effect of Instruction Materials using Linux on Academic Achievement in the Subject of "Internet Usage" in Middle School

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 리눅스 환경을 이용하여 중학교 기술과 “인터넷 활용 단원”의 수업과정안을 웹기반 교수학습 설계 모형에 따라 개발하고 이에 대한 학업성취도를 평가한 것이다. 개발된 수업과정안을 이용하면, 인터넷의 개념, 인터넷의 이용분야, 인터넷 주소의 필요성, IP 주소, 도메인 주소, 웹 브라우저, 인터넷의 접속과 종료 등의 인터넷 기본개념을 쉽게 체득할 수 있다. 아울러, 시각적 상호작용에 의해 설계되었기 때문에 개별학습의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 특히 이 연구에서 제시한 수업과정안은 중학교 학생의 수준에 맞는 기초적인 리눅스 실습을 이용하여 구성되어 있기 때문에, 중학생들의 자기 주도적 수업을 가능하게 해 주는 특징을 갖고 있다.
이 연구에서 개발된 리눅스를 이용한 수업과정안을 실제 중학교 수업에 적용해 본 결과 기존의 전통적 수업 방식에 비해 학생들의 학업성취도가 크게 향상되었다. 따라서 실제 중학교 현장에서 인터넷 관련 기술을 효율적으로 교수하고 학습하는 데 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study dealt with the design and implementation of instruction materials based on the web based teaching and learning design model using Linux environment and the evaluation of academic achievement in the subject of "Internet Usage" in middle school. The developed instruction material in this paper could student to learn about basic concepts of internet system and network environment such as the necessity of Internet Protocol address, domain name service, web browser, connection and close of Internet and so on through practicing in the LINUX environment.
In addition, the adaption of visual interaction between students and instruction material provided the efficiency of the self-study. Especially, our instruction material was composed of the basic Linux commands suitable for middle school students, hence, it had feature, which enabled student to study by himself.
The instruction materials for practice were applied to the real middle school classes. Results showed that academic achievements of students in the subject of "Internet usage" were improved. Our instruction materials were helpful for students and teachers to learn and teach the principles of information and communication technology effectively.
