유아의 형제관계의 질과 또래유능성 및 정서능력간의 관계 = The Quality of Young Children's Sibling Relationships, Peer Competence, and Emotional Competence

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 형제관계와 또래유능성 및 정서능력과의 관계를 알아보기 위해 총 346명의 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 하여 형제 수 및 형제관계의 질을 알아보고 교사 평정에 의한 또래유능성과 정서능력과의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과 형제수에 따라 유아의 또래유능성 및 정서능력은 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고 또래유능성과 정서능력은 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 형제관계의 질과 또래유능성 및 정서능력도 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 토대로 시사점과 제한점들이 추후 연구과제와 관련하여 논의되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzes the relationships among peer competence, emotional competence, and sibling retationship quality in young children. Subjects were 346 5-year-old children and their teachers at 10 child care centers in It-san in Jeonbuk province. Instruments for this study were the SRQ (Sibling Relationship Questionnaire), Peer Competence Scale by Park Ju-Hee, Rhee Un-Hai, and the Emotional Competence Scale by Lee Young-Ja, Lee Jong-Sook, Shin Eun-Soo. Data were analyzed by Cronbach's a, pearsen's correlation, ANOVA and the Scheffe test. The major findings are as follows: 1) The number of sibling was related to children's peer competence and the quality of sibling relationships showed a positive correlation with peer competence. 2) The number of sibling was related to children's emotional competence and the quality of sibling relationship showed a positive correlation with emotional competence. 3) Peer competence was associated with children's emotional competence.
