韓國 로만주의의 硏究

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Romanticism is one trend of literature originated by the repulsion of ciassicism in the west from the late 18th century to the early 19th.
Each nation has formed indepenent value into romanticism according to national characteristics and social natures. Since the failure of 3. 1 lndependence Movement, Korea imported every trend of western literature at the time, but Korea could not accept the literary trend orderly because of its backwardness. That is to say, Korea adopted romanticism, naturalism, realism, symbolism, and decadence disorderly all together, and then was thirsty for imitating them.
The romanticism of Korea was introduced through the magazines named "Pachu" and "Baikio" in the 1920's, but it was not developed so deeply as western romanti-cism. Though the trend of romanticism in Korea was immature it contributed much to the developing new Korean literature The magazines "Paehu" and "Paikjo" showed the trend of decadence and symbolism, but the trend of both magazinges was too long for the world trend of ideal dream with a hope for tomorrow and to try to forget the realities of life.
Of course, the romanticism of Korea differs from that of the west basical-ly. but it cuts a brilliant figure in the development of Korean literature, and it influenced much on the development of Korean literature.
